After the studies she decided to explore the beauty of the Orient and went to Beirut, Lebanon where she stayed for four years.

Katarina Trmčić Trnjaković was born in Belgrade, Serbia.

After the studies she decided to explore the beauty of the Orient and went to Beirut, Lebanon where she stayed for four years.
Today she is mother of two children.

As a creative person always exibiting talent for the fine arts, in 2010 Katarina started making unique handmade jewelry, expressing herself through a variety of materials and techniques.

Techniques she uses are metal-smithing, wire wrapping and weaving. Materials of which she creates necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and brocoches are polymer clay, copper, silver, gemstones and Czech glass.

So far she has participated in major exhibitions in Belgrade and Serbia.

Contemporary art with its simple and minimalist forms does not inspire her. However, dealing with applied art for her is a way to express her views, opinions and individualistic concepts.

Truely inbreathed by richness and intricacy of culture and arts of the Orient, impressed by Art Deco and Art Nouveau, admiring lucidity of playing with kitsch, enjoying literature, mithology and endless possibilities of art, she creates pieces of jewelry definitely worth seeing and wearing.
